General Description of the project
Site Location and Description
The proposed development includes for public realm enhancement in Bunratty comprising the installation of 4 traffic calming by 4 no. part-raised pedestrian crossings, entry features of walls, signage and planting, installation of bollards and a flagpole and new surfacing within the 2 existing open spaces. The proposed development will be carried out on L3126 Old Bunratty Road, Bunratty, Co. Clare.
Nature and Extent of Proposed Development:
I. 4 no. new part-raised pedestrian crossing.
II. New kerb alignment and pavement surfaces.
III. New entry features of walls, signage, and planting.
IV. New bollards and a flagpole.
V. New surfacing and landscaping within two open spaces.
VI. Installation of electrical supply duct and chamber to future Bandstand.
VII. Development of associated kerb drainage services at the pedestrian crossings.
VIII. All associated site works.
Scope of Works
The scope of works includes:

Removal of existing surfacing and identification of all utilities.

Installation of new drainage system, drainage kerbs at the part-raised pedestrian crossings.

Resurface all areas identified in the contract.

Install new ducting, bollards and flagpole as detailed in the contract.

Installation of road marking and signage.
