Main Contractor & Project Supervisor Construction Stage. Description: Single storey, numerous classrooms extension with toilets & shower rooms for disabled access to the existing school. We also excavated the ground & installed 3 x Soft Surface Playgrounds with security fencing, landscaping & car park along with all ground site works.
The works include the following: – foundations and sub structure; finished floors; block work to roof; trutone slate finish on the roof; external walls were plaster finished; windows, roof lights and doors as per drawings; electrical & plumbing as per drawings; internal finishes including painting, marmoleum flooring, tiling, bathroom ware including DOC M Packs, kitchens & storage shelving units in each classroom etc.
All external works including sewers; footpaths; tarmacadam finishes.
This project was carried out during school term- we were extremely vigilant of the children & staff on site. All Site Safety was set up before the project was started including security fences & signs; inductions & tool box talks were carried out; all employees & sub-contractors produced safe passes and all tickets before entering site. All PPE gear was worn at all times.
